The total export value of Vietnam’s dragon fruit in June 2024 is estimated to be nearly USD 27.7 million.
II. Export Value by Market (June 2024)
- Dragon fruit exports to China reached nearly USD 14.1 million, accounting for 51% of the month’s export value.
- Exports to the United States exceeded USD 3 million, making up 11% of the month’s export value.
- Exports to India were valued at nearly USD 2.1 million, comprising 7% of the total export value.
- Exports to South Korea amounted to nearly USD 1.1 million, representing 4% of the export value.
- Exports to the UAE exceeded USD 932.6 thousand, contributing 3% of the export value.
- Exports to other markets totaled over USD 6.5 million, accounting for 24% of the month’s export value.
III. Export Value by Port of Departure (June 2024)
- Saigon Port recorded the highest export value for dragon fruit in June 2024, at nearly USD 10.6 million, representing 38% of the month’s total export value.
- Tan Thanh Border Gate reported an export value of over USD 5.9 million, accounting for 21%.
- Lao Cai International Border Gate recorded an export value exceeding USD 5.7 million, also accounting for 21%.
- Tan Son Nhat International Airport had an export value of nearly USD 1.3 million, making up 5%.
- Huu Nghi Border Gate recorded an export value of nearly USD 786.1 thousand, representing 3%.
- Exports from other ports and border gates totaled over USD 3.4 million, accounting for 12%.
IV. Export Value by Processing Method (June 2024)
- Vietnam primarily exported fresh dragon fruit, with an export value in June exceeding USD 24.3 million, representing 88% of the total export value.
- Frozen dragon fruit exports in June were valued at nearly USD 1.9 million, accounting for 7%.
- Dried dragon fruit exports in June were valued at nearly USD 1.5 million, accounting for 5%.
